History
The Donald M. Harrison Family Scholarship Endowment Fund was established at South Carolina State University (SCSU) with the SCSU Foundation, Inc. in 2012. As a college student I was a member of the college marching band (SCSU Marching 101) and a member of the Army ROTC program. Both were instrumental in my college experience and I want to ensure future Band and ROTC students have the same opportunities in their educational pursuits.
The scholarship supports rising juniors who have financial need not provided from other sources and a minimum 3.0 GPA. The recipient must also be a member of the SCSU Marching 101 or ROTC program. The scholarship is awarded annually and rotated between the two organizations.
